This is beauty in its purest form. Here nature has developed freely, almost without a touch of a human hand, and produced an alpine heaven of lush forests, steep rock faces, crystal clear lakes, sleepy villages, and rolling meadows. It's just you, the chirping of birds, and cows ringing their brass bells. Well-marked trails wind through the spectacular scenery brimming with opportunities for hiking, nordic walking and cycling. Be sure not to miss lake Königssee, which could surely rival many a Norwegian fjord for beauty, except that it's perhaps a lot cleaner. A treat for the body and the senses.

Enchanting setting. Tranquil and romantic, this is the perfect spot for a stroll, a quiet walk, just lying in the grass and taking in the beauty. We have been here in the fall and would love to go again.
