With thousands of islands, dozens of which are inhabited, scattered throughout the Caribbean Sea, Carribbean vacations are of great variety. Travelers enjoy luxurious resorts, pristine beaches, and abundant sunshine wherever they go. Whether you want a weeklong summer vacation or a weekend escape during the winter, the Caribbean has much to offer you.
Destinations include the Virgin Islands, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Aruba, and many more. Many of the locations have airports so that you can fly in if you wish, or you can arrive via cruise ship if it fits your schedule.
On the Virgin Islands, there are resorts such as the Westin St John Resort & Villas that offer relaxation and privacy. Guests not only enjoy the pristine ocean, but the large swimming pool as well. Large, spacious rooms that overlook the ocean make the stay even more relaxing.
If you're going to visit Jamaica, there are all inclusive vacations to resorts such as the Rose Hall Resort and Spa, located on the beautiful Montego Bay. The resort features large dining areas, luxurious rooms, and a golf course as well for those who would like to try some tropical golfing. Jamaica is also known for its enjoyable and active culture.
The Bahamas are also a very popular destination for Carribbean vacations. One of the world's most prominent tropical resorts, the Atlantis resort, has a location in the Bahamas. Not only are there several luxurious hotels on the resort, but there is also a large water park that is fun for the whole family.
Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, is a great vacation spot for travelers from around the world, but especially for American citizens who do not want to have to get a passport. Resorts, such as the El Conquistador Resort, offer many of the same features that you find at other Carribbean locations at a very affordable price.
Aruba is known all over the world as being a very beautiful place to go for vacation. There are dozens of resorts in Aruba and many of them, such as the Divi Aruba, are all inclusive, which means that every aspect of your vacation will be covered, from the meals to the activities to the accommodations.
The hardest part about planning a vacation like this is choosing one of the many great Carribbean vacations - there are so many good ones to choose from and so many great resorts available that making the choice is the hardest part!
