In the heart of the Lone Star State lies a dining experience that takes you across the ocean to another continent. The French Room Dallas has long been acclaimed as one of the finest in the city, and it truly mirrors the luxury of dining as if one is really in the City of Lights, Paris.

Located within the Adolphus Hotel in the Dallas Historic District, the French Room is only one of several restaurants that cater to the guests of the hotel as well as patrons of the area. If you ever plan on splurging on a delectable French culinary masterpiece, then it's nigh time for you to reserve a table here.

When it comes to gathering praises and stunning reviews, the French Room has it all. It has been rated as one of the top 50 restaurants in the US, and the Zagat Survey has awarded it as the best hotel restaurant in America. The name has been published in Travel and Leisure Magazine, Gourmet Magazine, USA Today, and the Dallas Morning News, to name a few.

The French Room Dallas is well-known for the excellent services of its staff, as well as the experience of its master chefs. Decorated in Rococo style, the restaurant gives a unique French ambiance while still retaining an American flavor and mood. It is wheelchair accessible and offers seating arrangements for large groups as well.

What can you expect to sample at the extensively tasty list of dishes from the French Room? At around 80 USD, you can have a three course meal consisting of appetizer, main course, and dessert. Just as a teaser of their offerings, the following are worth mentioning: caviar, ahi tuna carpaccio, lemon butter poached Maine lobster, and lemon meringue.

The French Room, however, is very strict about its dress code. Men are required to wear dinner jackets, and denim pants are not allowed. Guests who wear sneakers are also not permitted to enter the restaurant. It is very important to give the staff a call before coming to claim your reservation.

Also, the restaurant is only open for dinner, which is from Tuesday to Saturday from 6 pm to 10 pm. The lounge, however, opens as early as 5 pm, for guests who wish to have pre-dinner drinks.

The official address of the French Room is the Adolphus Hotel, 1321 Commerce Street, near Field Street and Akard Street.
