The Houston Zoo is a beautiful and famous zoo that is located in Hermann Park in Houston, Texas. The zoo features over 900 species of animals, and a count of over 4,500. The zoo is open from 9am to 7pm, with the last people allowed in the gate at 6pm, except in the winter time, when the zoo is open until 6pm, with the last groups allowed inside at 5pm.

As far as prices go, children that are under the age of one are free, with children that are aged from two to eleven getting into the zoo for $7. Adults are $11 with senior citizens that are 65 years old or older getting in for $6. There is also an extra charge for the Wildlife Carousel, for which tokens must be purchased, $2.50 for non-members and $1.25 for members.
