We all seek an escape from the hustle and bustle of our hectic modern lifestyles. If that escape means a holiday in Europe's premier amusement park Disneyland Paris, formerly known as Euro Disney, then it becomes a dream come true. Opened in 1990, Disneyland Paris has entertained thousands of tourists over the years. Situated in the eastern suburbs of Paris, in the small town called Marne-la Vallee it is only 32 kilometers away from the main city of Paris. You can reach there by car, TVGs or RER trains.
Disneyland Paris includes two theme parks, seven hotels and many other entertainment and recreational facilities. The main theme parks are Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
The price of the tickets for both the parks is 10 Euros and it is available at park admission ticket window. You can also go and meet the main attractions of Disneyland - Mickey and Minnie.
Other than that the attractions include Sleeping Beauty's Palace, Pirates of the Caribbean, A 3D Animation Show Called Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Phantom Manor, Liberty Arcade, Stitch Live, Moteor Action Stunt Show Spectacular, Alice's Curious Labyrinth, Peter Pan's Flight, Car Race Rally, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Studio Tram Tour and many more. For adults there are big thrills, including adrenalin rush rides. If you prefer a little quite and wilderness, you can go camping in the Davy Crocket Ranch.
You can stay in any of the hotels right inside the Disneyland for your Disney Paris holidays. The seven luxurious hotels can be a relaxing experience. The hotels' architecture is influenced by the American cities of 20th century as well as those of modern times.
The facilities of these hotels mainly include swimming pools, tennis courts, exercise rooms, and pony rides. The Davy Crocket Ranch provides camping facilities. The decor of the exterior as well as interior of the hotels is also fabulous. The Newport Hotel is located along the side of the Lake Disney and has a small lighthouse. The restaurants provide delicious food and beverages and all kinds of cuisines. The Newport Hotel's restaurant also provides sea food.
While on your way back you can do a D' Tour to Paris and do some sightseeing as well and savor the beauty of the City Of Lights. As a whole, Disney Paris holidays can be an adventure and a great escape from your busy life.
