LIttle italy. College Ossington Area (even bloor and ossington)
You are walking distance to
Metro
2 NO frills
Sobeys
A Korean Supermarket
Dufferin Mall
College Street is pretty much nothing but resurants
Ossington subways station is right there and you have two frequent service blue lines (one street car 506 - College) and one Bus (63 Ossington) at your door.

Married? Kids? Budget? Join family?
Consider these points and decide. Main street is not far from downtown and is not costly. Total expenses 1300-1500 + grocery.

Have you found a place yet?
It really depends on where you want to live and your monthly buddget. I would suggest you search rentals in Toronto online. Go to Urbanrenters or use viewit The rent is cheaper further away from the downtown area but you need to consider the cost of transportation then.
