Day tour to Grand Canyon

Hi,

I will be in Las Vegas this summer? I want to visit Grand Canyon on a one day trip. Does anyone know some day tour operators that are good and not very expensive. Or maybe, I should rent a car and do it by myself? I'll be traveling alone, though.

I'd be grateful for help.

If it's only the Grand Canyon you're after, I don't think it pays off to rent a car. You can get a bus tour to the south rim for less than $90, including lunch and a stop at the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, and that's basically what you should be looking for on google.
