How many stamps do I put in order to send a letter from Hawaii to Georgia?

I'm sending a letter to a friend but I'm wondering how many stamps do I put?

The rate of a first class stamp is 44 cents and you only need one. Hawaii is a county in the US. and you can send a letter to any state or territory of the U.S. with one stamp ( unless it is over the normal one ounce size.)

It wouldn't be any different than the mainland; Alaska and Hawaii are still US states. You'd just put the same amount of postage on your package as you would if you were mailing it locally. And damn, mail is much cheaper in the United States; here in Canada - it's 68 cents to mail a letter!
