I always pin part of my hair back with bobby pins. will they set off the metal detectors at an airport? also, if i don't wear them on, but take them with me, where should they be kept? just in my carry on?
I have never flown before.

No. All you have to do is take anything electronic or metal out of your pockets.

My wife always has pins in her hair, and it has never caused her a problem.

Well, I haven't flown in a really long time. I've only traveled by plane one, and I was just a baby.
My college had metal detectors, and yes, even something like a bobby pin will set them off.
If you plan on wearing bobby pins in your hair during the flight, I would suggest you just carry them in your hand or pocket, somewhere readily accessible for when you are about to walk through the metal detector.
at all times, there is a tray where you can spot anything you think may set it off to save them searching you.
Then again, sometimes they don't set off the detector. One of my teachers told me once that it all depends on the calibration? But I wouldn't stress it too much. It's not that big a deal to remove them if need be.
Happy holidays and hope this helped! (:

No. They won't set off the metal detector. Just keep them in your bag, or you can wear them.
Have a great trip!

Certain things like bobby pins, jewelry, or the buttons on jeans won't set it off. when your go through security you'll have to take off your shoes and that's about it. Every once and a while an under-wire bra will set it off, but it hasn't happened to me yet.

The shopping at Lagos is phenomenal. Unbelievable low prices of all brands; is another reason to visit Lagos. Designer clothes and other articles are easily available in exotic shopping malls at such reasonable prices that one would love to visit Lagos every time they want to go shopping. The Lagos Night Safari, nightlife, new and prospered generation of African people, events and festivities and scenic landscapes provide another reason for the large tourism industry of Lagos.

It is amazing that the gold metal detector now owns the waterproof function, if so it can be used under the water without causing harm to the detector itself and the sensitivity will not be affected. So it is really a wonderful device as it can be used both on the land and under the water to help you during the road of hunting for treasure.

There are many types of detectors in the market, so it is really hard to make a decision which one to buy and whee to buy. I searched the internet for a long time and then I bought a gold metal detector, which is really helpful. And when I do metal detecting outside it can really distinguish what kind of the metal that it has detected and give an indication for me. And by using such kind of device I have saved a lot of time and energy. In a word, I love the gold metal detector and have confidence in it.

Among all the detecting activities, gold metal detecting is the most interesting one. We can not only relax both our mind and body , but also find a big fortune if we are lucky enough. Next time if you feel bored, you can pick up a gold metal detector and have a try.
