If you love Guinness-fun, you should be in Dublin on September 24, 2009. The town will turn into a big celebration spot feasting the 250 anniversary of Guinness. Big names will lead the celebration: the Black Eyed Peas, David Holmes, and such rising stars as Estelle, Kasabian, The Wombats, and The Enemy. The parties will also take place in New York, Lagos, Yaoundé, and Kuala Lumpur.
The global toast will be raised at 17.59 (local time) to Arthur Guinness, the founder of the worldwide beer brand. 250 years ago he signed a 9,000 year lease on the legendary St. James’s Gate brewery.
