Some of the fascination in visiting the Sagrada Familia is the fact that it has been an ongoing project ever since it started in 1882. Legend has it that the world will end once the church is completed, which would explain why architects are estimated to be struggling with the fulfillment of Gaudi's flamboyant vision for years to come. Yet a more probable reason is that the young artist conceived of it as a memorial of remorse for modern materialism in Barcelona and envisioned it so elaborate that it's simply no way of telling where the structure ends and its decoration begins. A magnificent piece of architecture not to be missed!

    MY RATING:

INCREDIBLE YOUNG STYLE. GAUDI HAS THE TOUCH OF GOD. JUST SIT ON YOUR BACK AND LOOK UP FACADE WITH THE SCENES FROM THE BIRTH OF JESUS . and still so much work and what a chance left for other courageous and talented architects.
definitely worth a visit(and gaudi is so present in a lot of other places in barcelona)

This picture does not do it justice. This is the most amazing architecture I have ever seen.

You need to walk right around the church looking at it from every angle, you will be shocked, suprised and left in awe of the magnitude of what Gaudi was trying to acheive.

    Well worth the visit

the cathedral is very impressive, the 2 different fronts are a masterpiece but making a huge line to get in and to see few things, it is not worth it. Inside, it is still in construction, we can go to the tower and up to have a view through the narrow window.

Construction is going on, its in the center of a busy city and really great to look at but is hard to get into a good place to see. And to get in its quite expensive.
