When it was revealed to the public, the Guggenheim Museum was immediately hailed as one of the world's most spectacular achievements of postmodern, deconstructivist architecture. And when you gaze at the randomness of form that the designer conceived of, you not only can't help but agree, but also may happen to wonder whether anything that is going to be found inside is able to outperform the very building that houses the museum. Yet with both permanent and rotating exhibits of works by Spanish and international contemporary artists the place is not going to disappoint, and may the Maman, a huge spider that guards the entrance, be a spooky incentive.

It's not only just the Guggenheim museum. The city, the gastronomy and the people are incredible.
I strongly recommend people to visit the Basque Country and northern Spain. -
