Toronto OVERVIEW

If rumors can be taken for granted, Peter Ustinov said "Toronto is like New York, as run by the Swiss," and there's absolutely no reason to question the aesthetic sense of so distinguished an artist. As Canada's cultural heart, commercial center, and the most ethnically-diverse city in the world, this vibrant metropolis nested along the northern shore of Lake Ontario will make you catch your breath as you zoom between the Metro Zoo and the famed CN Tower, the Harbourfront and the Distillery District. Yet there's always some place peace and quiet to be found, where you can breathe a sigh of relief from the urban clatter and plan what comes first the next day: a Niagara Falls outing, the Royal Ontario Museum or the Hall of Fame. Toronto is a city where art and music are as important as a good game of hokey and a sizable bit of nighttime merrymaking.
