Electric Shaver in carry-on?

It's pretty simple, can you bring an electric shaver on a plane in your carry-on or your checked bag? I think you were able to in 2010 but I'm not sure.

You could, and still can take an electric or manual shaver on board. You just can't take box cutter type razors on.

It's fine to bring an electric razor in either carry on or checked luggage. I've brought an electric razor on 100's of flights in my carry on bag including flights two weeks ago, and the electric razor has never caused a 2nd look nor have I ever been questioned about it.

Yes it is not a problem. You can now even bring manual razors on board now.
