What is the weather like in November in New York City?

I will be traveling to New York City and I was wondering what the weather and temperature are usually like in November?

Cold and windy, particularly later in the month. There's a good chance of some snow, particularly in the last two weeks of the month. Expect temperatures ranging from the 30s to the low 50s.

The average temperature is in the 40's. The foliage is beautiful in November.

On Nov. 1 the normal high is 59 and the normal low is 46. Then there's a gradual cool down with normal temps each day and on Nov. 30 the normal high is 48 and the normal low is 37. November is usually associated with cold weather for some reason but there are always plenty of days where the temps are at least in the mid 60's and sunny. In recent years most high temps in November have been between 35 and 70 degrees and the lows were between 25 and 60 degrees. Most days are usually partly cloudy and partly sunny with occasional cloudy and rain days. Snow is rare in November. If there is any at all, it's usually just flurries during the last week of the month. There hasn't been any significant accumulating snow since 1995 which got 2.5 inches for the whole month. It's usually cold in November in NYC, you'll probably need a light jacket and a scarf it doesn't snow in November yet but the weather is pretty chilly around 50-40 degrees, but also depends on where your coming from if your coming from a area that has mostly hot weather then it will seem colder for you then it is for New Yorkers if your coming from a cold area it cam either seem the same or a bit warmer but it's not severally cold

It could be dark, a lot of the month. Not a very lot of sunshine.

Though weather in the month of November is quite chilly and it around 40-50 degree F, but even then one can find lot of tourists there. Better to bring sufficiently warm clothes for this trip.
